This project is an immersive industrial training environment developed in Unity for virtual reality. The scene recreates a compact process station featuring a detailed network of pipes, valves, flanges, pressure gauges, flow meters, transmitters, supports, and control equipment housed inside a modular technical building.
My main challenge was balancing engineering accuracy, visual realism, and real-time VR performance. I modeled and assembled the environment, organized the piping and instrumentation layout, created the materials and lighting, configured collisions, and prepared the scene for comfortable VR navigation using teleport locomotion.
The exterior area gives the training module a believable industrial context, while the interior lighting and composition were designed to keep the equipment readable and easy to inspect. Special attention was given to realistic scale, mechanical detailing, clean asset organization, lightmap quality, and optimization, allowing the environment to remain visually detailed while running smoothly in VR.
